NYC Matte Me Crazy

As I said in my last post {link here} I picked up NYC Matte Me Crazy Mattifying Top Coat at Rite Aid. It's a 0.33 fl oz for $1.99. I was mainly looking for a regular glossy top coat, but saw this one and decided to give it a try!

It does a nice job at mattifying your nails. It works quick and drys really fast too! Not bad for $1.99! I would love to see how this works on darker nail colors.

Underneath I'm wearing Wet n Wild Megalast Nail Color in Club Havana. It's a very bright, creamy orange nail color. To get it opaque you would need to apply two-three coats of this baby. (I applied three) What I love about the new Wet n Wild Megalast Nail Colors are there brushes. There more fatter and rounder, so makes for a easier and faster application.

In the picture above I just applied Wet n Wild Club Havana without any top coat. Look at how shiny this color is! It almost looks like I did applied a top coat. It's a great color for this summer!

Has anyone pick out any of the New Wet n Wild Megalast Nail Colors?

  1. How do you like the NYC Matte top coat? I have been looking a fairly inexpensive one and I hear Hard Candy is a good one but it is always out of stock at Walmart.

  2. I didn't know NYC made a matte top coat??!!! Thanks so much for sharing love :)))

  3. Ohh! Love the matte polish! I have I Need A Refreshmint and love it:)
